Peninsula HPB Surgery
Peninsula HPB Surgery

I graduated from St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London in 1986 and did my surgical training in London and South East England. In 1999 I was awarded a Master of Surgery degree for research into small bowel transplantation.

In 2001 I was appointed as consultant liver transplant surgeon at King’s College Hospital, London, where at various times I was Clinical Director for Surgery, Surgical Tutor and Foundation Training Programme Director.

I moved to Derriford in September 2009, shifting my focus from transplantation to cancer surgery. In addition to my surgical practice, I am currently Director of Medical Education at Derriford and an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
