The team is based at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth. This is where we carry out all of the major liver, pancreas and bile duct surgery for patients from Devon and Cornwall, plus operations for gallstones, hernias and emergency surgery for our more local patients.

We carry out operations for gallstones and hernias at the Peninsula NHS Treatment Centre, which is very close to Derriford Hospital. Patients are referred to us at the Treatment Centre through NHS 'Choose and Book'.

We also have a surgical practice at the Plymouth Nuffield Hospital, just over the road from Derriford Hospital. Here we see and treat both NHS 'Choose and Book' patients and private patients.
